The PIXMA G1100’s ink bottles offer more ink capacity with 135 ml in the black bottle and 70 ml for each color ink bottle providing up to 6000 pages in Black and a total of 7000 pages with combined colors.
In addition to high volume printing, users can also benefit from the hybrid ink system that utilizes new pigment and dye color hybrid inks which provide deeper blacks for sharp text quality and more vibrant colors for visually impactful printing.
Rather than featuring side-mounted refillable ink tanks, the PIXMA G1100 is designed with an integrated built-in refillable ink tank system that is front-facing and housed within the printer, allowing users to easily check the ink levels and refill when needed. This design strategy, paired with the ink bottle’s spill-resistant tops and an air-protected tube, provides seamless and clean usability as well as keeps ink from drying out when the printer is not in use.
The PIXMA G1100 prints up to 8.8 images per minute (ipm) in B/W and 5.0 ipm in color, offers borderless printing capability, and its ink installation set up time frame is as short as six minutes.
