The Acer ED3 series of monitors feature cinematic curved screens and sharp, stunning images

Cinematic Curves

The first thing you notice about the ED323QURA is the eye-catching 31.5” screen, which features an 1800R curve. Curved screen provide a superior viewing experience compared to conventional monitors as all points of the screen are the same distance away from your eyes, providing a more uniform visual experience. This is beneficial in two ways, firstly you avoid colour shift and distortion towards the edges of the screen because the angle at which you’re viewing it is closer to 90 degrees. Secondly, it means that your eyes don’t have to constantly re-focus due to the difference in distances between points on the monitor, which means that fatigue and eye strain are reduced, especially when using the monitor for extended period of time.
The curve of the ED3’s screen is complemented by the slimmed-down bezels of the ZeroFrame, which help to minimise wasted space as well as reducing distractions when using the monitor.

Stunning Images

The ED323QURA’s curved screen has a Quad HD resolution of 2560x1440, which is more than 75% higher than that of a Full HD display, helping to improve productivity and multi-tasking. Plus the 4ms response time and lightning fast 144Hz refresh rate ensure that everything looks smooth and clear, even if you’re watching movies or playing games. This is further enhanced by the integration of AMD’s FreeSync technology, which makes it even easier for your monitor to work in perfect harmony with compatible graphics cards.
Add to this, the ED3 series features Acer’s VisionCare technologies - BlueLightShield, Flickerless and ComfyView. These technologies work to minimise blue light, flickering and screen glare, which can be not only distracting but can also cause eye strain and fatigue, especially when using the monitor for an extended period of time.
Lastly, the monitor comes with a complete range of connectivity options, including dual-link DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. This ensures you can connect your ED3 monitor to a variety of sources without any hassle.
