Added to that, the PE0 series features Acer’s HDR Xpert technology, which allows it to display more lifelike images, with realistic, natural tones and colours. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, which means the monitor supports a wider range contrast and greater brightness, as well as a wide colour gamut, compared to conventional monitors. This allows it to retain more detail in areas of particularly high or low brightness, better reflecting what the human eye is capable of perceiving.
Another Acer technology integrated into the PE0 series is Acer ColourPlus, which is used to help calibrate the monitor, ensuring that it produce consistent colours and sharper visuals. This helps the PE0 series to achieve a Delta E of <1 – a Delta E value indicates the level of colour discrepancy that a monitor produces, essentially how close it is to perfectly reproducing the colours contained within images, videos etc that you are displaying; a value of <1 means that the variations are imperceptible to the human eye, essentially the colour reproduction is perfect.
